Resurfacing

I haven't posted in a few weeks...I've been kind of a giant stress ball. I'm still trying to sort out Brady's health issues and my job and everything in between and, well, life is kind of hard right now trying to get things figured out. But I felt like resurfacing for a post. Don't be surprised if I go back to radio silence for a little while after this though!
So, we had snow, what I think was forever ago now. Here in McKinney we had 5 1/2 inches, which was kind of a lot to us! The boys' school had a delayed opening the following day and I think everyone at my office thought I was crazy for getting there so late since they had like a drop of snow on the ground further south. Blake absolutely loved it! Darcy too!

Yesterday Brad and I got to experience part II of our Ultimate Cowboys Fan Experience. Diana felt bad that she only gave us a "Diana Version" guided tour when we went to the game last month and she had always wanted to take the "official" guided tour herself, so she made a call and scored us all free tickets for a guided tour. When we got there we met up at the check in area and then started to walk with a huge group of people for the tour to begin and the guide got a call on his walkie talkie, "Tell Diana's group to get off the elevator." Ha! It turns out we had a private tour, which was even more cool! The tour was a little different than normal. 1)NFL has the stadium in lockdown mode for Superbowl preparations, which changed what we could see a little bit. Plus the star wasn't on the field anymore since they've already changed the field for the big game, so no photo op on the 50 yard line. 2)Martha Stewart was there filming a segment for her show, so couldn't go in one of the areas they normally let you. (We ended up actually getting to see Martha from a distance and would have gotten to meet her because Diana's coworker she is friends with was escorting her around, however the guys preferred finishing our tour. Diana and I were kind of bummed!!) 3)We had Diana with us so we actually got to see a few things most people don't and learn some other fun facts even the tour guide didn't know. I think the tour last longer than normal, we were there for 3 hours! So many cool facts, but I won't bore you with them here or the one million pictures we took. Here are just a few.

Martha with Jerry and wife...Brad's favorite player DeMarcus Ware was there too
And it was crazy to see how many extra seats they are shoving in the stadium. Normally there are party plazas which they've taken out and put seats in their place. There are seats all the way up to the tip top.
And I had to snap a picture of possibly the worst Superbowl seat EVER. You will be looking at the people in front of you and concrete. And I'm sure paying thousands to do so.
