Timberrrr!

Friday we had CRAZY winds. I literally almost got knocked down on the ground by them as I was trying to get out of the car. Brad was playing in a hockey tournament and had a game at 3:00, so took a half day. The boys and I met Brad for lunch and then we came home to get hockey gear and then leave to head for the game. Except when we pulled into the driveway, a chunk of our tree was leaning on our neighbor's house. Thankfully no damage, but we couldn't leave it that way. Only problem is we don't really own the proper tools for tree removal. Brad started hacking away with an ax. Took about thirty minutes and all of Brad's upper body strength to at least get it off the house. Needless to say not the best pregame activity and Brad had like two minutes to get all his gear on before puck drop. This afternoon Brad has a date with our neighbor (other side) who does own a chain saw. Fun weekend for Brad!
